Forests: Charting the Way Forward to 2015”
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali, Indonesia
13-16 February 2007
GENERAL INFORMATION NOTES
BALI – THE ISLAND OF PARADISE
|
|
An Indonesia Province with Denpasar as its capital, Bali has been known for its blend of beautiful nature and culture. The beautiful rural panoramas and beaches have been told to visitors’ relatives and friends through postcards and emails, and so have the beautiful dances and the accompanying dynamic music. Bali does not need further description, but you may want to visit http://www.balitourismauthority.net/ home.asp.
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa– THE VENUE
Most meeting facilities in Bali are centred around its capital Denpasar. The city itself is more dedicated for the local life, while international activities are mostly located at the nearby busy Kuta Beach area, the Sanur Beach Area that is growing to match Kuta, and the conference plus leisure dedicated Nusa Dua area. The last is deemed suitable for an effective and enjoyable Country-Led Initiative Meeting.
|
|
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa (http://nusaduahotel.com/) is a planned five star development complete with extensive facilities and an exciting variety of water sports. In the backyard you can enjoy swimming in the spacious pools within the beautiful garden filled with showering bougaunville, graceful frangipani and hibiscus of every colour, which lead to the golden beach suitable for swimming.
English is widely understood since Bali is a popular international tourist destination.
